How to Add Machine Capacity

Challenge:

A local OEM manufacturer needed to add machining capacity and wanted to do so without adding additional labor. The family of parts were complex and had a complex angle offset from the main operation to the second half operation.

Solution:

The system that we provided to this manufacturer allows flexible operation and the ability to easily add new parts to this system. The multi-tasking turn/mill center allows full turning, milling, drilling, in one operation. A special transfer device and second operation workholding allows the complete processing and part transfer of this challenging part.
