Productivity is a single source supplier and that means we supply everything you need to get and keep your machine going. In addition to selling you the best machine for your facility, Productivity offers Tooling and Accessories, Integrated Supply with its MMIS department, Applications Support, Robotics & Automation, Service and Preventive Maintenance for your machine and strong after-sale customer support. We’ll even help you sell your machine and tools once you’re done with them!

3. I just purchased a machine from Productivity Inc. Who will train us to use our new machine?

Productivity Inc has classroom training for Haas machines in Minnesota and Iowa. You may register online for training and view the schedule for upcoming classes. If you are in Nebraska, please contact our Nebraska branch office to schedule. For all other machines, please contact your local Productivity Inc office.

4. How do we enroll in training?

5. Does Productivity provide installation of newly purchased machine tools?

Yes. You can count on Productivity Inc for after sales support through the life of your equipment purchase. We don’t stop after we sell you the equipment—we want to make sure that you are happy every step of the way. Productivity strives to make your machine tool investment experience as productive and hassle-free as possible by partnering with you from the beginning and that includes financing, pre-installation, trafficking, rigging, installation, maintenance and repairs and service.

6. Will Productivity Inc help me sell our old machine tool?

Yes. Productivity Inc’s used equipment division, machinesused.com can help you sell your old metal working equipment. 7. Does Productivity provide installation, service and training for used equipment or machines not purchased through Productivity?

Productivity’s service department can help you with your service, install and training needs on most all machine tools. Contact Productivity for more information on availability and costs.

8. Does Productivity Inc stock machine parts?

Productivity’s Service and Parts department stocks large quantities of spare parts. Parts that are not in stock are usually expedited by our parts staff for overnight delivery. 9. Does Productivity provide financing for machine tools?

10. How did the idea of Oktoberfest first come about?
  • Productivity Inc’s Oktoberfest Tool Show started in 1981 as a means to showcase new equipment, accessories and other innovations while in a fun-filled atmosphere inspired by a German-theme Oktoberfest with the usual music and food-fare. On display you’ll find somewhere in the order of 60 plus machines under power with live demonstrations and educational seminars too! Held every other year, this event continues to be one of the largest tool shows hosted by a distributor with visitors from all over the Midwest and further.
  • The historical background: the first Oktoberfest was held in the year 1810 in honor of the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig’s marriage to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen. The festivities began on October 12, 1810 and ended on October 17th with a horse race. In the following years, the celebrations were repeated and, later, the festival was prolonged and moved forward into September.
  • By moving the festivities up, it allowed for better weather conditions. Because the September nights were warmer, the visitors were able to enjoy the gardens outside the tents and the stroll over “die Wiesen” or the fields much longer without feeling chilly. Historically, the last Oktoberfest weekend was in September and this tradition continues into present times.
